An Italian Delight
October 17, 2004

I am a hot Italian Chicago Lisa girl
An exceptional cook and a pearl
Dark beautiful eyes, dark angel hair
If you mess with the family, better know your prayer

Quick to see your intention
Your future will depend on this question
Thin crust, thick crust, what would you like?
Both the same ingredients, almost alike

I am a go-getter with many achievements on my side
Except one I am longing for – becoming a bride
I finally gave up on meeting my clone
And got comfortable being on my own, alone
It took many lessons to have grown
Over the years that just flown

Generosity, caring, and loving are some of my gifts
Letting go of controlling others is one of my shifts
I value family, tradition, and organization
And believe in good communication as a foundation

I like things to be in order
In both sides of the border
I am entitled to my opinion even when I am wrong
Just to get to sing my own song

Although I am very independent and secure
I have a secret that even to me sounds obscure
I would love to be spoiled by another
To further ignite my passions rather

So here I am getting my feet massaged
Feels so good I am obliged
I feel so relaxed as I am zoning out
While my guests Jacqueline and Steven are talking about…

Then I wake up to both starring at me
“Go to bed” they say and I agree
I got two dates coming up to beatify for
Next dinner, how it went, I will tell you more…

Thanks for coming I whisper in a tired voice
Acknowledging my friends choice
Tuck me in bed now
Meow ;-)

Love

Steven

p.s. Thanks for being you and sharing your gifts…
