April 2006

The birds are singing, the flowers are blooming, spring time is here. I have been taking extra time this month to enjoy the gifts of mother nature, and practice more being than doing.

I was reminded again how to find so much joy in just being. I was sitting in my backyard the other day, witnessing the shower of yellow flowers landing over my body as my eyes filled with tears of joy.

I was also reminded that my life is important and I am here to play bigger games. I went to see the Broadway show Golda's Balcony, a one women show about the life of Golda Meir. What a moving story of a girl from Milwaukee, who became a powerful prime minister of the state of Israel.

After watching the movie Gandhi again, it became apparent that I am having a strong emotional response to such leaders who were willing to die for their cause and find a powerful way of living for it.

Do you have a cause in your life that you are willing to die for, and more important to live for? I am talking about your passion.

I have been living my life dedicated for causing transformation with individuals. More specifically I like to resolve conflict and create peace between nations.

Being my own coach I already know that whatever I want to create in the outside world is all about me. I began to observe the conflicts in my life that I would like to resolve.

Looking back at my life, I have created companies and disolved them, I have created wealth and let it go. I created relationships and ended them. It became apparent to me that I am holding the stick of conflict within myself every day of my life.

How do I do that? In my conversations. I would say something great like: "I would like to create a fun party for people to have outrageous fun." My next conversation inside my head would be: "but I don't know if people would show up. If they don't show up, I am not going to look so good".

The first conversation is telling the universe about one intention, and the second conversation about another intention. The universe has been generous with me to give me both the creation of the event and the thought of no shows and not looking good. After all I was thinking both and created both.

How many conversation do you have that contradict what you really want? Watch all of your conversations as they will become your reality.

First look at your life and identify what you don't like. Consider that you have created your life as it is. Can you now trace what you created to some of your previous negative thoughts?

I would like to invite you to re-examine what you really want and focus on that, and not on what you don't want.

The universe will provide you everything you hold in your thoughts. Yes you are that powerful, did you know that?

Love

Steven
